​Today, June 6th, we pause to remember the unimaginable courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who stormed the beaches of Normandy. D-Day stands as a profound testament to what we can overcome when we stand shoulder-to-shoulder in the face of overwhelming darkness.

​Tonight, the Paws Forward Foundation had planned to honor that spirit by lighting up the Greenway at Luther George Park for our Glow Forward Twilight Walk & Festival. We envisioned a sea of lights mirroring the flares of Normandy—a symbol of our community coming together to guide veterans and survivors of military trauma out of the dark and into healing.

​Unfortunately, the heavy rain has other plans for us tonight. For the safety and comfort of our community, our dogs, and our supporters, we are officially postponing the Glow Forward event to July 11th.

​While our physical walk is delayed, our mission remains steadfast. The journey of healing from trauma—much like the long road following D-Day—is not a solitary mission. It requires a community willing to light the way, hold space, and move forward together.

​Stay safe and dry tonight, Northwest Arkansas. Please take a quiet moment to honor the heroes of June 6, 1944. We will keep our lights ready, and we cannot wait to shine brightly with all of you on July 11th. 🐾💛

Northwest Arkansas, we are incredibly sad to announce that due to the severe weather conditions, today’s Glow Forward Twilight Walk & Festival at Luther George Park is POSTPONED. ⛈️

While we love a good rain-or-shine moment, our ultimate priority is the safety and well-being of our veterans, our first responders, and our service dogs in training. Severe weather presents serious safety risks and sensory challenges that do not align with our trauma-informed mission. Safety absolutely must come first.

We are officially projecting our rescheduled date for SATURDAY, JULY 11TH (3 PM - 9 PM)!! ✨🗓️
