We are just about finished with our latest deck project. This one was over 20 years old and desperately needed an update. We tore it mostly apart, repaired the old and added new framing to make it robust for years to come. We then laid down composite decking, built new stairs, repurposed the vintage metal railing, and finished it all off with custom top rails and trim. It’s now ready for another 20+ years.

BTW, this project was for my good friend # Craig Keever and his wife Amy!

When people ask me, “What do you do?”, my answer is “Just about everything”. This latest project sums that up.

We were asked to transform a blank attic space into a workout room and convert an adjoining common area into a meditation room.

This required:
• Reframing the room over the existing framing so we could remove the cross supports and carry the load.
• Laying a new subfloor.
• Bringing in power for a new breaker box and wiring the space.
• Installing a mini-split for climate control.
• Insulating the space.
• Sheetrocking, finishing, and painting.
• Laying a new laminate floor.
• Installing workout equipment and mirrors, etc.

It’s one of my favorite projects we’ve done so far. Let me know what you think…

We do quite a few bathroom remodels but this latest one really stands out! We essentially gutted the room, swapped the shower and tub location (adding a soaking tub and enlarging the shower), refurbished the vanity, added tile to the toilet area, replaced all of the lighting (even adding some), and installed custom medicine cabinets after removing the old dated mirror. The main focal point is the new custom shower though. With it’s custom tile and seat (Installed by our go to guy Chad Haney) and rain glass barn style door, it’s a show stopper!

What a great idea for a personalized gift!

How’s this for a 1/2 bath to full bath conversion in 30 days? We ripped out the walls between the 2 baths and an adjacent closet, jackhammered the floor for the plumbing for the new shower, vanity and toilet, repoured the floor, put up the new walls (stealing space for the new shower) and finished them. The shower turned out great with the help of Chad Haney, tile master! The owners Stephan Pollard and Terry Tremwell were very pleased and were great to work for as well!

I love it when a customer lets us be creative! Debbie Powerwanted new front fences and gates that ware different, would block the view to her pool, but would still let the wind through. This is what we came up with. Each board is edge sawn at a 45° angle and fitted to decrease visibility but allow airflow. The effect is not unlike blinds. We then added arbors for a little extra flair.

We are looking for someone to join our team. Work would entail general handyman work, deck/fence building, flooring, framing and more (just about everything involving renovation).
