It’s with great sadness that we just heard of the passing of Captain Roy Kerr, the owner of The Tall Ship La Malouine, based in Annan Scotland. Capt. Kerr was a noted story keeper of Solway history and a real catalyst for activities that pass that rich history on to the next generation. He was my friend and inspiration for the line of coffees called “Smuggler’s Choice International Flavors” and in turn I named my first flavor as a tribute to Capt. Kerr. His energy and passion for the sea will leave a void in Annan’s harbor and the wake of his life is felt here in the USA. RIP Captain Kerr. ❤️‍🩹
