🔊 "Norwegian Wood" by Juan M., first place winner in the "Open Unlimited" category at the 2026 Ohio Speaker Design Competition

"Norwegian Wood was inspired by the 2-way designs with good directivity control we found at AXPONA this year. The idea of the 2-way between an 6" and a tweeter was a lot of fun, but would leave me with quite big bookshelves. Instead I chose the highly regarded Dayton Audio RS180 drivers, because being 6.5 inches I can repeat the AXPONA recipe and have a more reasonably sized bookshelf set." - Juan M.

🔊 "Bella Sonus Azzurra Model 2" by Michael H., second place winner in the "Over $300 Large" category at the 2026 Ohio Speaker Design Competition

"This project represents a major milestone in my loudspeaker journey. Over the past five years I've learned woodworking, finishing, cabinet construction, driver integration, measurement, and crossover design. Every project taught me something, but this is the first one where I felt confident enough to leave the familiar behind and create something entirely my own." - Michael H.
