Today was one of those surreal days in life ✨

I spent the day surrounded by photographers and friends from all over the world at Way Up North in Vienna, feeling inspired, creatively challenged, and honestly a little emotional about this industry and where it’s taken me over the years.
And then this happened...

I’m incredibly honored to have won Best Couple Portrait at the 2025 Way Up North Awards.

What means the most to me is that the image that won is rooted in the kind of work I’ve always loved creating. Emotional, cinematic, human, a little imperfect artsly-farty s**t, and driven more by feeling than formulas.

In a world where creativity can sometimes start to feel repetitive or rushed, this image reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. 

Grateful to Way Up North for creating spaces that celebrate artistry and storytelling in such a meaningful way.
