Essential Yoga and Wellness
Using alignment techniques, we offer a mindful practice to promote both physical & mental well-being. Life gets busy, and too often, we put our well-being last.
Our studio is a welcoming space for every body, ability, and experience level. At Essential Yoga & Wellness, we believe that yoga is for everybody and every body. Our studio is a welcoming, inclusive space where all individuals—regardless of experience, mobility, or background—can explore movement, mindfulness, and self-care. We’re here to change that. Last week we had the honor of working with our local fire department, and breathwork was at the center of it all.
First responders operate in some of the highest-stress environments imaginable. Their nervous systems are constantly being asked to do hard things. So when we talk about breathwork with this group, we are not talking about something soft or optional. We are talking about a practical, evidence-based tool that can regulate the nervous system in real time, improve recovery between calls, and support long-term resilience.
The breath is the one thing you always have access to. On scene, in the car, at 2am when your mind will not slow down.
What we practiced together was simple enough to use anywhere and powerful enough to create a real physiological shift. That is the beauty of breathwork.
We offer breathwork as a core part of our programming here at Essential Yoga and Wellness, because whether you are a first responder, a busy parent, or just someone navigating a lot, your nervous system deserves the same care and attention as the rest of your body.
Curious what it feels like? Come try a class or watch for our upcoming breathwork offerings.

Did you know you can build real, functional strength and mobility without ever getting down on the floor?
Our Chair Yoga class is one of the most underestimated classes we offer, and here is why it deserves a spotlight.
Every posture and movement in this class is chosen with your daily life in mind. We work on active range of motion, the kind that helps you reach overhead, get up from a chair, turn to back out of the driveway, and move through your day without thinking twice.
It is yoga that translates. From the mat (or the chair) directly into real life.
Whether you are navigating an injury, getting back into movement after time away, or simply want a mindful and supportive class, chair yoga meets you exactly where you are.
Come try it. Your body will thank you.

This Thursday we are bringing the good vibes to the park and we want YOU there.
Join us for FREE yoga under the open sky at Rotary Park, followed by Belly Dancing and Zumba. Grass skirts and leis are provided because we are absolutely leaning into the beach theme.
Back in the studio that evening, Snyder will be offering mini tarot readings and Jasprit will be here for astrology readings. It is truly a full-on good-time evening.
Come solo, bring your whole crew, just come.

Meet Kelly Walsh, one of our incredible teachers who will be subbing this summer while Jenny brings yoga to the dancers at Moreland Dance Theatre
Kelly is a 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher whose classes center on mindful movement, breath, and truly listening to what your body needs. No forcing shapes. No chasing perfection.
Kelly's own journey with yoga began as a path to healing after back surgery, and that lived experience shapes the way she shows up for every student. After years of dedicated work in Social Services, yoga gave her balance and a new way to understand the connection between mind and body. That is exactly what she brings into the room with her.
In Kelly's classes you can expect clear cues, lots of options, and a genuinely relaxed space where all levels are welcome. Whether you are flowing, slowing down, or just breathing, her goal is for you to leave feeling stronger, calmer, and more connected.
We are so happy to have her!
Kelly will be teaching Tuesdays Foundational Flow at 5:15pm
