new blog, and i wrote it on a rainy one, the kind of day where the sky never really wakes up.
you know the kind. gray, slow, and somehow your whole body just feels heavier for no reason at all.
i used to think something was wrong with me for that. like maybe if i had enough faith, i wouldn’t feel so low over weather. but that’s not what we’re promised, friend.
God never promised us a life without rain. in matthew 7 the storm comes for both houses, the wise one and the foolish one. the rain wasn’t the test. what held was the foundation underneath.
so your heaviness on a gray day? that’s not a lack of faith. it’s just your body feeling the weather, and you’re allowed to feel it.
i wrote a whole blog about what i actually do on days like this, the gentle, real, no-formula version. it’s tender and it’s honest and i think it might meet you right where you are.
