Recently, we had the opportunity to bring our in-person seatbelt safety program to students at Tomball High School, with Dustin Creager sharing Kailee’s story and an important message about the choices we make every time we get in a vehicle.

As one of the first responders at Kailee’s crash, Dustin brings a deeply personal perspective to this conversation and reminds students why buckling up matters.

This program was made possible through the generous support of the Tomball Regional Health Foundation. We’re grateful for their partnership in helping us reach more young people with lifesaving education.

484 postcards. 20 sent internationally. One lifesaving message.

We had an incredible time at Amazon RelayCon sharing the Kailee Mills Foundation’s mission and reminding people that every time you buckle up, someone 💚s you.

Our goal was 400 postcards, and the RelayCon community showed up in a BIG way. Together, we sent 484 postcards, including 20 internationally, to countries such as Canada, Thailand, and the UK!

Even more exciting, reaching our postcard goal means the Kailee Mills Foundation qualified to receive $25,000 from Amazon to help us continue saving lives and protecting families through education, awareness, and support.

Thank you to Amazon and everyone who stopped by our booth, took a photo, sent a postcard, and helped spread Kailee’s message around the world.

🏈 Friday Night Lights are about more than what happens on the field. 💚

Our dedicated board member, Dustin Creager, recently joined students in the Klein Collins High School athletics program to talk about an important part of being a teammate, a leader, and a member of the community: making safe choices behind the wheel.

The message reached athletes, cheerleaders, and football players, reminding students that looking out for one another extends far beyond game day.

Because every ride matters. Every passenger matters. And making the choice to buckle up is one way we can protect the people counting on us.

This week, the Kailee Mills Foundation is proud to sponsor Keep Kids Alive Drive 25®’s 19th Annual Live Forward! Run to Remember in Colorado Springs, September 17–20.

The event brings families from across the country together to honor loved ones lost in traffic-related incidents. During the weekend, runners carry the names of those loved ones as they take on Pikes Peak, creating a powerful opportunity for remembrance, connection, and support.

Kailee’s story is part of this community of loved ones remembered. We are honored to see her name and her story carried forward alongside so many others, reminding us why the work to create safer roads matters.

We are grateful to Keep Kids Alive Drive 25® for including Kailee’s photo as part of this meaningful event. Having her memory represented among those being honored is a beautiful reminder that her story continues to reach people and inspire safer choices. 💚
