Day and night, our First Responders selflessly safeguard our homes, our families and our communities. We recognize their commitment, and have been long-time supporters of First Responders. In support of the Equipping Our Hometown Heroes campaign, Chapter 4520 made a $1,000 donation to the Spring Fire Department Station 74.

As the pandemic goes on, it keeps creating needs in our communities. In many ways, it makes things worse, like the situation homeless people face when it gets colder outside. WoodmenLife Chapter 4520 recognized the need and recently donated $500 to Star of Hope Mission. Together, we can make a difference for others.

As COVID-19 continues to affect our lives, we look to lend a hand to organizations helping where it’s needed. Chapter 4520 donated $300 to the Northwest Assistance Ministries Joanne Watford Nutrition Center. The donation shows the power of what we can do when we work together. Even when we have to suspend community outreach activities, we can still live out our values, like supporting our communities during a global pandemic.

Our WoodmenLife Chapter 4520 donated $500 to help Wunderlich Intermediate School of Klein ISD welcome kids back. This school year is unlike any we’ve seen in the past century, so we wanted to lend a hand as part of our commitment to community, especially to our teachers and schools.

Out of an abundance of caution, and to do our part to keep our members safe, WoodmenLife is cancelling or rescheduling all Chapter activities, meetings and gatherings effective immediately through April 30. If you have questions about activities in your area, please contact your local WoodmenLife office. The Home and Regional Offices will remain open.

Together to Help the Todds On February 24, 2018, Brandon Todd (20) was in a serious car accident. With medical bills coming in and multiple surgeries and therapies in Brandon’s future, his family is in need of assistance. The Todds hope to raise $7,350 through RedBasket.org to offset the cost of Brandon’s medical bills.
