Today, we recognize Juneteenth, a day that honors freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equity for Black Americans.

As we reflect on this history, we’re also reminded that the work of building fair and supported communities continues today. For us, that means showing up alongside our neighbors facing food insecurity and helping connect families with food resources in Montgomery County.

We remain committed to serving with dignity and care bringing food directly to neighbors and supporting access where it’s needed most.

We’re currently seeking a donation of a heavy-duty collapsible wagon cart to support our food distribution efforts, and we’ve identified this model from Target as a great fit for our daily operations:

According to newly released U.S. Census data, Montgomery County is now the 4th fastest-growing county in the nation.

As our community continues to grow, so does the need for food assistance. More than 100,000 Montgomery County residents face food insecurity, including over 30,000 children and many seniors.

Behind every number is a neighbor, a family, or a child who may be struggling to put food on the table.

At The Abundant Harvest, we're committed to helping meet this need and ensuring our neighbors have access to nutritious food when they need it most.

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, our food pantry opens its doors to serve neighbors across Montgomery County.

We're running low on egg cartons again!

Every week, donated egg cartons help us repackage eggs for our neighbors who visit the pantry. When cartons run short, it becomes much harder to distribute eggs efficiently.

If you have clean, empty egg cartons you'd like to donate, we'd be grateful for your support. Small donations like these make a big difference behind the scenes and help us continue serving our neighbors.

Need food? Our food pantry is open every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM for anyone in need.
