THE MISSION
1ST CIVDIV WARRIORS FOUNDATION IS A VETERAN OWNED AND OPERATED NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, DEDICATED TO HELPING COMBAT VETERANS TRANSITION TO A HEALTHY CIVILIAN LIFE. FOR STRUGGLING VETERANS, THE ABILITY TO INTERACT WITH LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS OFFERS BOTH THE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL SUPPORT THAT THEY NEED DURING THE TRANSITIONARY PERIOD BETWEEN MILITARY SERVICE AND A NONCOMBATANT LIFESTYLE.

Through our partnership, Headstrong and Starbucks are teaming up this Veterans Day to help make a difference in the mental health and wellbeing of our nation's veterans and military families.

Starbucks will donate 25¢ of every hot brewed coffee purchased at participating US stores to support Team Red, White & Blue & Headstrong’s missions to help heal the hidden wounds of war for veterans across the nation.

The Working Warrior Foundation is looking for participants in our inaugural training program who desire to find their calling in America's digitally-driven economy.
We're hosting a FREE 2-week training course for transitioning service members, post-9/11 veterans, active-duty spouses, veteran caregivers, and/or Gold Star spouses from August 2nd through August 13th.
Designed to re-train or augment experience in digital media, data analytics, strategy and technology, the course will include software certifications from leading tech companies, prominent guest speakers to discuss successful veteran transition, and host employment/networking events in the DMV area.
Prospective applicants should be based in the DC, Virginia, Maryland area, and have at least a high-school diploma. No personal computer is required to attend.
