Always remember if you try to do the job cheaply it may cost you more later on. Do it right, with the correct parts, and your equipment will last you longer.

It was a busy day yesterday. I had repaired a hydraulic cylinder and while I was doing so the customer asked me to look at a custom winch that was made for him. It amazes me to see some of the things I see out there. The design of this winch was a good one. But the way it was put together was not. Remember people getting it done cheap is not always the best thing to do. If the company that made this winch would have done it right this damage would not have occurred. It may have cost maybe 100 to 200 more to do it right the first time. Now it is going to cost about 3 times that to do it right.
