Dance Studio Progressions Performing Arts is a studio that believes in both technique and artistry. PPA also believes that dance is all about fun!

Hiring excellent experienced instructors from the dance community to instill a strong foundation within their students is PPA's first goal. Students are taught with the idea that any may choose a career within the dance industry so all should be given the skills necessary to make that choice. We strive to bring that enthusiasm and energy into every class. Regardless of age, dancers, from three years old to ninety are welcome and encouraged.

✨ Senior Spotlight: Elizabeth ✨

For the past 14 years, Elizabeth has been part of the Progressions family, growing into the graceful and dedicated dancer she is today. 💛

Her favorite style of dance is Ballet, and one of her favorite dance memories was performing in her very first Nutcracker. Getting ready and dancing alongside her cousin made the experience even more special. 🫶

After graduation, Elizabeth is excited to attend Lone Star and pursue her degree in Early Childhood Development. ✨

When asked what advice she would share with younger dancers, Elizabeth said:
“Don’t be afraid of failure. We strive for progress, not perfection.”

Dance has impacted Elizabeth’s life in so many meaningful ways, and we are so grateful to have watched her grow both inside and outside of the studio. 💫

We are so proud of you, Elizabeth, and cannot wait to see all the amazing things your future holds!

✨ Senior Spotlight: Alexandra ✨

Since she was just 2½ years old, Alexandra has been part of the PPA family. Over the years, PPA has truly become her second home and second family. 💛

Although her favorite dance style has changed throughout the years, Hip Hop currently holds the top spot! 🫶

After graduation, Alexandra will be attending Point Park University’s Honors College and Conservatory in Pennsylvania double majoring in Dance and Psychology. What an incredible next chapter ahead! ✨

One of Alexandra’s favorite dance memories is a hilarious “you had to be there” studio moment involving Carly Taylor, Laney, a wet plunger, and laughing so hard I “spilled water” on the floor. 😂 IYKYK

Her advice to younger dancers:
“Don’t let outside stress and burnout trick you into thinking your love for dance is fading. Take that pressure and redirect it into renewed passion and drive. Don’t forget to take care of your body and your mind!”

We are so proud of the dancer and person Alexandra has become, and we know she is going to do amazing things both on and off the stage. 💫

✨ Senior Spotlight: Addison ✨

Addi has been a part of the PPA family for 15 years, growing not only as a dancer, but as a confident and inspiring young woman. 💛

Her favorite style of dance is Contemporary, and one of her favorite memories at PPA is “Mrs. Kim barking at us” — one of those classic “you had to be there” studio moments that still makes her laugh to this day. 🫶

After graduation, Addi will be heading to the University of Alabama to study kinesiology, and we know she has an exciting future ahead of her!

When asked what advice she would give younger dancers, Addi shared:
“Don’t be afraid to take a year off.”

Dance has given her lifelong friendships and the confidence to grow into who she is today, and we are so grateful to have been part of her journey. ✨

We are so proud of you, Addison, and can’t wait to see all you accomplish next. 💫

✨ Senior Spotlight: Sophia ✨

For the past 15 years, Sophia has been a part of our PPA family — growing from a tiny 3-year-old dancer into the beautiful performer and person she is today. 💛

Her favorite styles are Contemporary and Hip Hop, and one of her favorite memories was dancing with her team at Nationals last season for the very last time — a moment she says felt extra special. 🫶

After graduation, Sophia plans to either continue her dance journey through the Segway program or attend Aveda for cosmetology school!

Her advice to younger dancers:
“Always keep trying even if you don’t think you can do it. You may not be the most naturally talented, or win very many things, but almost anything is possible if you work hard enough and commit to what you’re doing… Never give up!” ✨

We are so proud of you, Sophia, and cannot wait to see where life takes you next. Once a PPA dancer, always a PPA dancer. 💫
