Norman stopped by True Companion Animal Hospital for his Saturday visit and was more than happy to enjoy his flavored oral Bordetella vaccine! 😋 As you can see, he thought it was more of a tasty snack than a vaccine.

The oral Bordetella vaccine helps protect dogs against kennel cough, a highly contagious respiratory disease that can spread anywhere dogs gather, such as boarding facilities, daycare, grooming salons, dog parks, and training classes.

Who says vaccines can’t be delicious? Way to be such a brave (and hungry!) boy, Norman! We loved seeing that happy face. 🐾❤️

💖 Pretty in Pink & Protected! 💖

Miss Cleo strutted into True Companion Animal Hospital in style - rocking her glitter nails, adorable pink harness, and walking confidently on her leash for her FVRCP booster vaccine! 🐱✨

Vaccines are one of the best ways to protect your cat from serious and potentially life-threatening diseases. The FVRCP vaccine helps guard against:
🐾 Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (Herpesvirus) – a common cause of upper respiratory infections.
🐾 Calicivirus – can cause painful mouth ulcers, respiratory disease, and pneumonia.
🐾 Panleukopenia (Feline Distemper) – a highly contagious virus that can be fatal, especially in kittens.

Even indoor cats benefit from staying up to date on their vaccines, as viruses can be brought into the home on clothing, shoes, or by other pets.

Cleo was a superstar for her visit, and we can’t get over those fabulous glitter nails! 💅🐾

🚨 New Puppy Alert! 🚨

Sweet Bella came in today for her very first veterinary appointment with Dr. MacFarlane, and we are officially obsessed. 🐶💕

While we were busy welcoming her to the True Companion Animal Hospital family, Bucky immediately took his self-appointed role as Chief Treat Inspector very seriously. After a thorough investigation involving several sniffs and questionable personal space boundaries, he determined that Bella was, unfortunately, not hiding any snacks. 🕵️‍♂️🍪

Bella handled her first visit like a champ, won over everyone in the building, and has already been informed that repeated visits for cuddles are strongly encouraged. Welcome to the True Companion family, Bella! 🐾😂

We’re kicking off our Employee Pet Spotlight with Jenna, our amazing Lead Surgery Technician! Jenna has been part of the True Companion family since May 2025, and she takes exceptional care of your pets before, during, and after their surgical procedures.

When she’s not caring for your four-legged family members, Jenna and her husband have quite the crew of their own! Their home is filled with:

🐷 2 pigs
🐐 1 goat
🐶 4 dogs
🐱 6 cats
🎶 …and a partridge in a pear tree! (Okay, maybe not really! 😄)

It’s safe to say Jenna’s love for animals doesn’t stop when she leaves the hospital. We’re so lucky to have someone with such a big heart caring for your pets every day.
