The Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center is a place where learning is inspired by nature. The Nature Center is open Tuesday through Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm.
The trails are open every day from dawn to dusk. We are an educational facility where learning is inspired by nature. We offer programs/projects for all ages that focus on the local plants and animals of the Spring Creek watershed. There are miles of trails for activities such as guided nature walks, birding walks, citizen science projects, and volunteer opportunities. We also offer ongoing natural history programs, including nature photography, writing, and art.

The Nature Center will be closed Friday, April 3rd and Saturday, April 4th for Good Friday and Easter!

Thank you to everyone that joined us for Spring Break Week 2026! From learning to fish at Bluegill Pond to meeting Fred, the Red-tailed Hawk, it was a fun-filled week!

The Grand Opening of the new Innovation Space at the Kevin Brady Library-MCMLS is this Thursday, February 19th!

The Nature Center will be closed this Saturday, 01/24, due to the increasing chance of freezing temperatures and possible winter precipitation that is predicted for this weekend.
Our normal hours will resume Tuesday, 01/27, at 9am.
Don't worry though! Our terrific Animal Care Staff has been working on preparing our animal ambassadors for the colder weather headed our way this weekend! Stay warm, like our animal ambassadors, and stay safe!

Closed 12/22 through 12/27 in observance of the Christmas holiday!
The trails and playground will remain open throughout the holiday, so after your festivities are over gather the family together for a refreshing stroll through the forest!
