PART 4 — The Transition to Sales

I got off the highway and stepped into a whole new arena — Business to Business Sales.

Credit card processing. Energy management. TV and internet. Three completely different industries. Same mission every time — find the problem and bring the solution.

Every industry taught me something different about how businesses operate, how owners think, and what they actually need to grow.

And I kept coaching baseball on the side — winning 2 Men’s League Championships along the way.

Different roads. Same purpose.

Every skill I picked up was adding another tool to my belt. I just didn’t know yet exactly what I was building toward.

PART 3 — The Road to Freedom

I drove a truck for 15 years. All 48 states. Mexico. Canada.

And people think that’s just driving. They have NO idea.

Running a truck is running a business on wheels. Fuel management. Scheduling. Customer relations. Compliance. Taxes. Negotiations with brokers. I did ALL of it.

8 years as a company driver learning the game. 3 years as a lease operator mastering operations. Then I owned my own trucking company — Tolbert Daughter and Son Transport

That was the best time of my life. Not because it was easy — because it was MINE.

The road taught me that discipline builds freedom. And freedom builds legacy.
