There is always common ground. Dance from the Heart uses multicultural dance education and performance to reveal the common ground in our communities.
Based in Houston, we provide contributing dancers the opportunity to receive continuing education through Artist In Residence Programs, ongoing classes, and workshops designed to deliver focused, intense instruction over a short period of time. DFTH's home studio is Dauntless Dance & Movement Studio, where our performance company is based and our programs are delivered.

Update for Gulf Coast Raks: All of Aziza's and Sadie Marquardt's classes are SOLD OUT. There are still a few spots open in Amy and Simon's classes over the weekend and in their Thursday intensives... and of course, we have other amazing instructors who still have room in their classes. I just finished the website updates for the 2019 Gulf Coast Raks Festival! Register fast and get your show tickets early - we are almost halfway to sold out for the Fri - Sun headliner classes just from the advance VIP package sales! We will have some incredible performances in our 3 shows, so don't wait too long.. April 11 - 14, 2019 at the Doubletree Hotel @ IAH.

I would love to share some exciting news! DFTH would like you all to join us in welcoming our new company members, Sandra and Ariel! They have been performing with us as guest artists, absorbing the intense whimsy we have been known to throw around. Kimberly Larkspur and I have been so pleased with their hard work, dedication, and skill that we've made it official. Both of these artists are a wonderful addition to the company and we couldn't be happier to dance with them!
