We noticed for quite some time our dryer needed to go a few times to completely dry larger loads and towels. It is a Speed Queen so they run slightly hotter than other brands and should dry on one cycle. We finally scheduled for a guy to come check it out. I love to learn about things so I watched and questioned him. The dryer underneath had a lot of lint. Which is not ideal especially with a gas dryer. I’ll post a video of the flame thrower that ignites under that bad boy in case you’ve never seen. The temp after he cleaned underneath was over 300 degrees. Hottest he’s ever clocked. Said definitely our lint vent was blocked. We had never had it cleaned professionally so ya…I’m sure! So he gave us this company and we booked right away. Took him two hrs to remove this stupid fan at the exit the builder installed which only blocked lint from ever escaping. Plus get all of it out of the vent…there was a lot as you can imagine. All of this to bring awareness to you in case you don’t pay attention to your lint vents and under your dryer. Clean the vents every couple years at least. And clean under your dryer inside often. Otherwise it could cause a 🔥.
