Happy Good Friday!
Ran out of white flour so added a little wheat to the dough. That's why they look a little darker than usual, but still surprisingly delicious 😋

First pies of the season are going out tomorrow! A huge shout out to Kleb Intermediate PTO for organizing a "pie drive" to thank all the Kleb teachers, staff, custodial workers, bus drivers and Klein police. Friday the PTO will be sending a pie home with them for the holiday break! ❤️

Chewy and crunchy on the outside. Soft and fluffy on the inside. A rustic loaf makes the perfect hostess gift, side for any holiday table or even the most delicious light breakfast toasted with butter & jam!

It's that time of the year! I'm starting to take pumpkin pie orders to be ready the week of Thanksgiving. 🍂 🦃 🍁 🥧
I have a limited amount of pumpkin puree set aside, so be sure to reserve one for yourself.
Each pie is made with home roasted, fresh pumpkin and a handmade flaky crust!

Rainy days are perfect for baking. Stocking up for the St. Ignatius of Loyola Fall Festival this weekend. You can find Buono Breads goodies at the festival bake shop.

Craving some homemade pizza but it's been in the high 90s and you don't want to turn on the oven?
Take your pizza stone outside to the grill! Just be sure to preheat it for a good 20-30min. Once it's nice and hot I turn all the burners down to med/low and check on the pizza every 5min giving it a turn.
My pizza dough is made with simple ingredients (flour, water, olive oil, honey, yeast and sea salt) and ready to be topped with all your favorites.

Pane di Pasqua, Italian Easter Bread. This is a sweet bread and my family flavors it with fennel and anise. It's delicious toasted & buttered in the morning with a cup of coffee or tea. It's also the perfect addition to any appetizer platter - sliced or used as the centerpiece!

Wrapping up some Thanksgiving bread orders, pies are out for pickup and spending some quality time with the kids making memories.

🤣 sometimes it feels so true! Bread and cheese are the first things everyone stuffs themselves on.
