In a world that often feels like it’s racing ahead, I’ve come to realize the profound importance of slowing down. Embracing the art of nothing-even if only for an hour or two. Disconnecting from the endless stream@of messages, emails and notifications allows me to breathe and calm my nerves. Resting isn’t a luxury it’s essential to heal. Whether it’s savoring my tranquil home, stepping outside and walking barefoot, or saying no to anything that drains my energy, these small@acts have become transformative. Picking up a book and diving into its pages offers me an escape while grounding me in the present moment. So slow down and find peace in just “being”. Today I chose this path of stillness, allowing myself the grace to heal amidst all of life’s chaos.

Christmas is coming…are you ready?
I’ve finally finished decorating my tree, but a few DIY’s before Christmas I’m hoping to get to. I am loving my new gold house in my tree from and beautiful new chocolate velvet and gold ribbon and ornaments from

All my ideas for a spooky Halloween interior have come to life this year. And I couldn’t be more happy.
This year I did a spooky haunted witches coven theme! I printed out spooky vintage photos, lots of creepy cloth, homemade apothecary bottles and of course lots and lots of candles to create ambiance. My husband was so impressed he made a video on YouTube watch - 2024 Halloween diy interior walkthrough or follow link: and please like and share

Okay I know I know it’s only August and like 1000 degrees out, but when I get inspired I have to act on it. I found this ceramic skull that lights up and the haunted animated books and zooshed them up with printable book covers on Etsy, antique wax and embellished them so they look vintage.
If you guessed my theme is spooky with apothecary you are correct! .

One place I’m constantly updating is our entryway. Swapping out art and florals to change things up a bit. Recently I found this black art easel which I’m obsessed with! Art is from on Etsy.

Crushing on these creme hydrangea with winter green stems for January. It’s a simple transition from Christmas while it’s still chilly outside.
A small reminder that sunny and bright warmer days will be here before we know it.

It was a very Merry Christmas for our family only our two couldn’t be with us this year which broke my heart. Thank goodness for my husbands side which made it every bit of perfect this year!
Today I clean up, rest then we travel to see my babes!
Wishing everyone a blessed and safe holiday! ♥️

Because sometimes it’s about creating a mood.
I’ve been following .nl and she has nailed the rustic-moody vibe like no other!
Aged pottery, vintage ornaments, fresh pine branches and candles keep it simple and cozy. Every year I decorate to reflect my rustic-moody style and I couldn’t be more happy with how this table vignette turned out! ❤️

It’s when you have that ah-ha moment while styling at a clients home.
This gorgeous French blue ribbon and wired gold caught our eye and it could have not been more perfect for her home!

This late September overcast day has me in a cozy mood and this photo of my living room sums it up!
Moody rooms always get me. Where antique meets modern; chunky throws, velvet and warm woods; vintage art and found treasures melded in with decor.
And these are a few of my favorite things.
