GGO Church Builders 100 Club

The team visited GGO churches in Kenya earlier this year and shared the love of Jesus with many hungry people.

We were blessed to purchase a motorbike for Pastor Enoch Tombo at dominion church ndoinyo. Pastor has been walking to the jungles of Mashuru, Nkorika, and Nkenye to evangelize and pray with the needy. What a time of celebration!

Guajiquiro, La Paz in Honduras This work got started in August of 2023 when a child of the Lenea Indians with a stomach infection was taken to a health clinic for treatment. Pastor Jayson was at the clinic at the time and began talking with the father and about needs of the village. So, he made a trip to the village of Guajiquiro taking with him clothing and medicine. He asked permission to preach the word in the father’s house and 5 received Jesus in the first service. Now there 11 adults and 8 children. The hunger for the Word of God was growing, so the Chief of the tribe said that they needed a place to have meetings for the members of the tribe. So the Chief donated a tract of land for a church.

GGO is supporting 11 orphan children in Kenya, providing them with schooling and necessities at home. Pray for them to be strong in the Lord! Our thanks to Pastor Simon Zuma who keeps watch over them on our behalf.

On Sunday the 27 of January 2024 we did the first service in San Miguel with 2 people who belonged to our church in Sayaxche Peten. My supervisor Ricardo Borja was informed about the 2 people. Then on the 19th of January 2024 we went to visit them. I decided to go and have services with them on Sunday and then on Wednesday. That is how I became pastor of the church. Now the church has 12 attending services. We have meeting in a little hut made of used tin that we borrowed. The county has given us a tract of land so that we can build a church.

Below is the GTI Jerusalem Church that was built last season, and it was one of the churches that Pastor and the GGO team were expected to visit this August. The community did a fund drive to make the walls so that The GGO team may find a place to worship. So in less than two months they had built the walls and installed the doors and windows. The person who donated the tin sheets is an elder in the village and he gave his life to Christ last Sunday, PTL!

To all of our GGO partners, it is with a heavy heart that we share that Pastor Albert Hale has passed away. What a difference he made in the lives of thousands of people over the years! Great is his reward in heaven.
