Being a Gigi myself, I absolutely love working with babies.

I had the opportunity to photograph Tammy's 13-month-old grandson, and he was as cute as can be!

Now, did he smile for us? Not really. 😄

But one of the things I've learned over the years is that beautiful portraits aren't always about big smiles. Sometimes they're about curiosity, personality, expressions, and capturing a moment exactly as it is.

I was honored to create these memories for Tammy and her family!

One thing retirement taught me? Learning never stops.

Today I have mentors, coaches, photographer friends from around the world, and I'm still learning something new every week.

Growth doesn't have an age limit!

I became a photographer because I learned how quickly life can change.

Between 2011 and 2014, I lost 13 loved ones. THIRTEEN!!

That experience taught me something I carry with me every day: The people we love are our greatest treasure.

That's why I believe photographs deserve more than a spot on a phone.

They deserve a place where they can be seen, shared, and remembered for generations!

27 years as a teacher taught me a lot!
