🎯WHY THE KLEIN OAK FFA BOOSTER CLUB MATTERS 🎯
Over the past week, we’ve highlighted the many incredible opportunities available through the FFA program from LDEs, CDEs, SAEs, SDEs
One important thing we want to highlight is this
FFA success does not happen without support.
While many people associate FFA with showing animals, as we have just learned that FFA is so much bigger than that. It is about preparing students for their future careers whether that’s college, trade school, or entering the workforce. But these opportunities come with costs.
When students advance in competitions or qualify for the next level, expenses quickly add up:
✔ Competition registration fees
✔ Travel expenses
✔ Hotels for overnight or multi-day events
✔ Meals and transportation
✔ Project materials and supplies
✔ Team resources and educational tools
✔ Teacher/program support
✔ Scholarship funding for graduating seniors
Unfortunately, school and district budgets do not always cover these opportunities. That’s where the Klein Oak FFA Booster Club steps in.
The Booster Club exists to help bridge that gap so our students can continue to grow, compete, learn, and succeed.
Through paid memberships, sponsorships, donations, fundraising, and volunteer support, we are able to say YES to opportunities that directly impact our students.
Without active support, the reality is simple: sometimes we have to say no.
No to helping a student attend a qualifying event.
No to funding resources.
No to scholarships for deserving seniors.
No to opportunities that could change a student’s future.
And that’s not what we want.
Our scholarship program is funded through Booster Club support. When funds are available, we can invest back into our students’ futures. When funding is limited, those opportunities become limited too.
This is why membership matters. This is why volunteering matters. This is why donations matter.
💙 We are asking our Klein Oak FFA families to get involved.
👉Become a member.
👉Pay your dues.
👉Volunteer your time.
👉Donate if you’re able.
👉Ask questions.
👉Get connected.
Because when we work together, our students succeed
The future of Klein Oak FFA grows stronger with YOU.
