Today we honor . On June 19, 1865, freedom finally reached the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. We celebrate that hard-won freedom and the resilience it continues to inspire today.

Happy Juneteenth!

Last night, we wrapped up AANHPI Heritage Month with our 2nd Annual Heritage Games at ! We brought the community together to explore traditional gaming history and tap into some serious civic power. With voting season officially here, it was the perfect space to learn about protecting our voting rights while discussing topics like immigration, healthcare and K-12 AANHPI curriculum.

Our staff and volunteers completely crushed it behind the scenes to make sure the night ran flawlessly! Huge congrats to our grand prize winner who walked away with the Nintendo Switch 2! ๐ŸŽฎโœจ
