IMAGINE MY AMAZEMENT 😳😃 when I received this News via text message!!! Needless to say this day has been years in the making, with God orchestrating every element.🙏🏾 This type of success and recognition doesn’t happen overnight.
In 2017, God gave Dinisha the vision to start Solutions of Change, a Nonprofit with the purpose of providing FREE and Low-Cost mental and behavioral health services. The SAME Year, I start my company Grant Me Success, a full-service Grant Education and Writing Firm ✍🏽.
In 2018, I attend my first “Healing to Health”, the Annual community mental health program hosted by SOC every July.
In 2019, Dinisha hires Grant Me Success to help SOC receive IRS 501c3 status and conduct a Board Development Training.
In 2020, Dinisha hires my company to begin providing Grant Writing Services, and we receive the first Grant for $183,000!
In 2021-2023, Dinisha asks me to serve as the Interim Executive Director and Lakiesha Oliver to serve as Lead Clinician. Then, SOC is awarded several other Grants…allowing the organization to grow from 1 Staff Member to 15 Staff!!!👫🏾👫🏾👫🏾
In 2024, Dinisha and the SOC Board, led by Charles L. Whitby II, invite Grant Me Success to facilitate a Strategic Planning Session during their Board Retreat.
In 2025, SOC is recognized for their AMAZING Work in the Las Vegas Community and selected to receive a $250K Donation from the Raiders!!!🙌🏽
Moral of the story (and there is so much more, stay tuned👩🏽‍💻): Great Wins like this are achieved through vision, connection, great people with a pure heart and skills to back it up, preparation, planning, dedication (lots of late nights and weekends), belief, faith, and GOD’s timing!!!🤩👏🏽
