All week long at Kenzie’s Be Cafe, we’ll be sharing facts about Down syndrome as we prepare to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on March 21. 💙💛

All people with Down syndrome experience some level of cognitive delay, but it is usually mild to moderate and looks different for every individual. These delays may affect the pace at which someone learns new skills, but they do not define a person’s abilities, personality, or potential. People with Down syndrome have many strengths, talents, interests, and gifts to share with their communities.

Join us in celebrating on March 21!
✨ Dance your way to the register for 20% off drinks in honor of World Down Syndrome Day.
✨ Walk around the cafe and learn more through Down syndrome facts posted throughout the space.

We are also incredibly grateful for the support from our Tri-Cities community. Local businesses will be celebrating by donating 3% of sales or offering a round-up option at checkout, with proceeds going back to support Kenzie’s Be Cafe. We’ll continue to share participating businesses as they join in!

World Down Syndrome Day is observed globally every year on 3/21, a date chosen to represent the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome that causes Down syndrome. The day is all about raising awareness, promoting inclusion, and celebrating the incredible individuals in the Down syndrome community.
