With spring underway, we’re seeing some promising changes in our resident eagle pair. They’ve been spending more time at the nest, reaching in as if feeding and actively rearranging materials, behaviors that can signal nesting season and the possibility of eggs hatching.
While we don’t have confirmation yet, this is an exciting time. In our region, eaglets typically hatch between late March and mid-summer, depending on when eggs are laid, and both parents share incubation duties.
As you watch and enjoy, please remember to keep a respectful distance, avoid loud disturbances, and never approach or feed the eagles. These small actions help give them the best chance for success.
