Going fast with and

Paul’s racing the Tour Divide which starts in Banff and ends along the border of Mexico. Nearly 130 miles a day for 20 days. Monster.

Follow along with him on his new biking account and show some support!

After a hearty thaw freeze cycle and a fresh coat of snow we started up Garnett Canyon early in the morning in hopes of big lines in good condition.

We had to turn around a few hundred feet short of the Middle Teton and didn’t get to ski the East face. It was a decision I questioned the whole way down. I turn around often and rarely regret it, but I couldn’t help but wonder what could’ve been. It’s never an easy call. Later that day we saw the park rangers reported multiple large avalanches on the route we wanted to ski. Always trust your gut.

Life is sweet

A little BTS from this winter on a shoot for Sweet Hat Co. Thanks to for putting it on, for bringing me along, and for coming to the rescue and providing the snow (as always).

It makes my job so much fun to have a crew like this. Really cool to have worlds collide for work.

Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Keep going until you hit the top.

Winter’s finally arrived in Montana! A few months late, but I’ll take it.

I’ve skied this summer classic, The Great One, a handful of times, but never in winter conditions. The high winds and dark clouds in the distance made for dramatic light and great shooting conditions. It was an awesome bonus score a few powder turns (and some icy turns too).
