A lot has changed in four years.
The business has grown. The team has grown. The challenges have gotten bigger. But so have the opportunities.
What I’m most proud of isn’t the revenue, the clients, or the projects we’ve completed.
It’s building something with people I genuinely enjoy being around.
The kind of team where hard work and laughter can exist in the same day. Where you can tackle big goals, solve real problems, and still find time to joke around along the way.
Turns out the goal was never to avoid work.
It was to build a life where the work is worth it.

The bear has been part of Jake’s story long before Wise Bear Creative was even a thought. In his early 20s, Jake spent time in Utah, where he was given the Native American name Southern Redwood Bear. Over time, the nickname Redbear caught on.
Years later, when he started building the agency, the idea was to name it Redbear Creative. But somehow, the domain and LLC were already taken by another talented agency out in Hollywood.
So the name evolved. Redbear became Wise Bear.
What started as a nickname became something bigger: a brand built around instinct, strength, resilience, patience, and the relentless pursuit of growth.
So today, on National Black Bear Day, we are celebrating all of it.
We are celebrating Wilson, the newest bear we picked up from Genie’s Outlet.
We are celebrating the wise bears: the people who keep showing up, keep learning, keep building, and keep trusting the process.
The bear has always been more than a logo. It is part of the story.

Making a bear blush...
Some businesses have customers.
Some businesses have a community.
Veenstra’s Garage is celebrating 100 years of serving Grand Rapids and Ada, and we had the honor of helping tell that story through video.
Since 1925, Veenstra’s has been more than a repair shop. It has been a trusted name families come back to, generation after generation.

New website launch for MC Concrete.
MC Concrete has been serving Northern and Western Michigan since 2001, building driveways, patios, decorative concrete, flatwork, pole barn floors, and more.
The goal for this rebuild was simple:
Create a digital presence that feels as solid as the work they do.
The new site and brand gives MC Concrete a stronger first impression, cleaner service messaging, easier navigation, clearer calls to action, and a more professional foundation for future growth.
