Let's unpack the word hypnosis and learn about our nervous system! Loved my time with Dr. Tricia Pingel on her podcast, "What Am I Modeling?"
We hear about limiting beliefs often, and that we should overcome them. But HOW do they form? Let's discuss!

During my visit to Denver and the Botanical Gardens, I was drawn to Juana Silence by Jaume Plensa. The sculpture's gesture is simple yet profound: a finger to the lips, eyes gently closed, inviting us inward rather than outward. Plensa has described silence as a place of reflection and human connection, and it made me think about how much of our lives are spent responding to external noise while missing the deeper wisdom within. The subconscious mind is always communicating, but it rarely shouts. More often, it whispers. Sometimes the most important thing we can do is become quiet enough to listen. ✨

POV: You're looking for the root cause instead of managing the symptom. 😂

A beautiful rose that I captured at the Denver Botanical Gardens!
Over the course of my trip to Colorado, I was compelled to visit Compassionate Dharma Cloud Monastery in Morrison. I wasn't sure exactly what message would waiting there for me, but it didn't take long for me to find a beautiful Bodhisattva sculpture that moved me to tears and justified my draw to this beautiful place of peace above the clouds.
Sometimes enlightenment is not becoming someone or something new, but remembering who we have always been.🪷

You never quite realize how tired you are, or how much you need a break, until you finally take one. I'm excited to take you with me on this vacation this week!
Where have I been? Soaking up the beauty of Colorado while visiting my son, Alexander. Although he grew up on the East Coast, he's made a wonderful life for himself in the mountains over the past four years. Watching him thrive here has been such a gift. Being surrounded by the mountains has also brought back memories of living in Aspen with my mother on and off for 10 years. There is something about this landscape, the fresh air, the clear water, and the vastness of the sky. It invites me to slow down and breathe a little deeper. I've been sleeping as soundly as the sandstone formations at Red Rocks Parks (pictured in these photos!) and feeling renewed in ways I didn't realize I needed.
Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is step away and remember that rest isn't a reward. It's part of a well-lived life. 🗻❤️More mountain insights loading...

One thing I never want to lose is that sense of childlike wonder, the ability to be fully present, deeply curious, and genuinely joyful in simple moments. Somewhere along the way, many of us were taught that growing up meant becoming more serious, more guarded, more disconnected from play. But I think part of healing is remembering how to return to ourselves again.
Joy is essential, and the present moment is all we have.
And the energy is flowing! 🤣
