Greater Life of Fayetteville

Good morning,

I am writing to ask that you please include Greater Life of Fayetteville and me in your prayers.

We have approximately 35 -40 summer academy participants age range 7-14, still receiving phone calls. God is amazing!

God has placed something truly magnificent in my hands for this year's Summer Academy. I have been blessed with five young interns, ages 14 through 21, who have a deep hunger for the Lord, especially one young man, Kirk. We begin each day with motivational sessions, prayer, and affirmations. As we come together to prepare for next month, that spiritual hunger is only growing.

It is beautiful to witness, and my prayer is that I can move completely out of the way to allow the Holy Spirit to minister through me to these young people. I want to ensure that I am walking in humility and obedience so that the Lord may speak through me mightily.

Cumberland County, NC Government

Cumberland County, in partnership with the City of Fayetteville, NC Government and community partners, will open cooling centers Monday, June 22, in response to forecasted heat index values reaching 102°F.
Residents without access to air conditioning are encouraged to visit a cooling center during normal business hours to stay cool and safe. Remember to drink plenty of water, limit outdoor activity during peak heat hours and check on older adults, young children, neighbors and pets.
