Funeral services are being handled per Strickland Funeral Home in Wendell.

We love her and miss her so much already.

It is with much sadness that we tell you that Betsy passed away last night. We do find joy in the fact that we know today she is sitting at the feet of Jesus. We appreciate every person, every Prayer, every call and every act of kindness that has been sent our way. Funeral arrangements are pending and we will post as soon as we know more.

Days gone by

In the Pilot Community on Wednesday nights, you could usually find the men here. Discussing everything from how rich the soil would be this year to who would meet Jesus next. There was some good people who sat around the old wood stove eating peanuts and drinking little glass coca colas. Many have gone on, some can’t fight the cold anymore and some have other obligations now. I think when it warms up we just may get out there and invite everyone around to just gather together and socialize. Catch up. Actually see each other. If you have ever spent any time here we hope that you miss it as much as we do.

Today we celebrate Ms Betsy. It’s her 85th birthday 🎉! We thank the Good Lord for allowing us this day!!

How about our favorite race car driver is 20 today!!! Happy birthday Camryn!!

As we celebrate the Season of our Saviors birth, we would like to take a moment to thank each and every customer, friend and family member for standing with us through this tough year. We are very blessed and thankful for it. We hope that each of you get a chance to spend time with your family and make lots of memories to cherish. Have yourself a very Merry Christmas 🎄
