Meet Byron, also known as Chicken around the farm! Bryon joined Barnes Farming 21 years ago.
He started out in the fields harvesting sweetpotatoes and cucumbers, back when we still grew cucumbers. Over time, he transitioned to driving tractors across our to***co, sweetpotato, and peanut fields. He also helps mow our fields and disc sweetpotatoes during harvest.
Byron truly loves driving tractors; it’s his favorite part of the job! In his free time, you can find him fixing cars, welding, or working on anything mechanical.
We're thankful for your hard work and dedication, Byron!
