Roots Creative Co.

Welcome Siobhan Boismier - one of 8 talented artists competing in the Art & Ales: Round 2! 🎨🍻

Meet Siobhan, a native Floridian currently residing on her family farm in New Port Richey. "Growing up surrounded by Florida's natural landscape and wildlife has shaped both my life and art."

For the past 20 years, she has worked professionally as a fine artist and tattoo artist. Although she loves experimenting with different mediums and styles, Siobhan finds herself continually drawn back to portraits and realism. Today, a large share of her work is created with Minwax wood stain. "I enjoy this medium for its organic character and connection to the natural surface of the wood."

We can't wait to see how Siobhan brings her unique style to the competition, especially with this year's theme, Wild Florida.

Save the date for November 7th, and join us for a day of creativity, community, and craft b**r at Tidal Brewing Company. VIP tickets are now on sale, so grab yours today!

Art & Ales: Round 2 is proudly presented by Carter Foreman, PLLC - Attorneys at Law.

Welcome Jordan Shapot Art to the Art & Ales: Round 2 competition! 🎨🍺

Jordan Shapot is a full-time artist based in Ocala, Florida, where he owns Shapot Art Gallery. An active member of the Ocala art community, Jordan hosts contemporary art exhibits, pop-up events, art critiques, solo exhibits, lectures, and more.

With more than 15 years of experience participating in live art, competitions, and public art projects, Jordan enjoys lending his talents to causes he believes in. As he puts it, "As an Eagle Scout, plein air painter, and full-time artist, I have a unique love and appreciation for nature and a worthy challenge."

Jordan shared with us, "Being a Florida native and constantly outdoors, I have created countless paintings and drawings of our local flora and fauna. Documenting these precious habitats aligns with not only my passion for conservation and stewardship, but in documenting these fragile ecosystems. I have been very interested in working closely with the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation and Roots Creative Co. since I first learned about their incredible organizations."

We’re excited to see what Jordan creates for this year’s Wild Florida theme!
