Have you scheduled your senior portraits yet?

Day 12 of Summer
I’ve checked my email 47 times.
I’ve walked the campus 12 times.
I’ve judged 3 squirrels.
I’ve inspected the cafeteria for leftover chicken nuggets.
I’ve still found exactly 0 students.
Please advise.
Since nobody seems to be here, I need a summer assignment from my Eagle family:
Drop a message in the comments and tell me what you’re up to this summer!
Vacation?
Summer job?
Sports camp?
Sleeping until noon?
Helping around the house?
Eating snacks and avoiding responsibilities?
I want to hear it all.
Let’s see what our Eagles are up to while I’m over here staring out the window waiting for August.

From Frank the Eagle: 🦅
Attention, future Class of 2027 legends…
You’re about to become seniors. The next thing you know, you’ll be arguing over cap decorations, crying at graduation, and pretending you don’t miss high school.
But first…
📸 Get that senior portrait scheduled!
Trust me, you don’t want your yearbook legacy to be, “Oops, I forgot.” Nobody wants to be remembered by a blank square and the words “Not Pictured.”
Plus, if you get your portrait done by June 12th, there’s a little extra bonus waiting for you. 💰
So call, book your session, and start practicing that “I’m totally ready for senior year” smile.
(And maybe practice looking awake before noon. That’s the real challenge.)

🦅 Frank here…
What a night.
The Class of 2026 officially spread their wings and soared into the next chapter, and what a graduation ceremony it was! From the cheers and applause to the proud families filling the stands, it was a night our Eagle family will never forget.
Now let’s address the giant rain cloud everyone was convinced was coming.
For weeks, people were sending screenshots of weather apps, checking radar updates, and acting like they were amateur meteorologists. Yet somehow, once again, Springstead’s graduation weather magic came through.
Seriously, at this point our graduation ceremony has a better track record than Denis Phillips.
The rain stayed away, the skies held up, and another class crossed the stage without a single soggy diploma. That’s a tradition we’ve been fortunate enough to enjoy for years, and last night the streak lived on.
Congratulations to the amazing Class of 2026. Thank you for the memories, the spirit, and the legacy you’ve left behind.
Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m accepting bookings for weddings, picnics, and birthday parties since summer at The Nest is pretty boring.
Shout out to Mr. Murphy for his mad photo skills!

Today marked Mrs. Pearce’s final day with students as principal of Springstead High School.
As she made her way through the halls, she was surrounded by what she has always loved most- her students and staff. Teachers lined the hallways, students filled the corridors, our cheerleaders cheered, and the drumline provided the soundtrack for a moment none of us will ever forget.
For years, Mrs. Pearce has been the heart of Springstead. She has celebrated our victories, supported us through challenges, believed in our students, and reminded us every day what it means to be an Eagle.
The applause, cheers, hugs, and tears today were a reflection of the impact she has had on countless lives. While she will continue serving Springstead through the end of June, today was the last time she would walk these halls with students filling the classrooms she cares so deeply about.
Her legacy will remain woven into the fabric of Springstead High School for generations to come.
Thank you, Mrs. Pearce, for your leadership, your dedication, and the love you have poured into this school and its people.
Once an Eagle, always an Eagle. ❤️🤍💙🦅

Well Eagles… we made it. 🦅
Another school year is officially in the books. We survived alarm clocks, group projects, fire drills, Chromebook issues, 47,000 eHall passes, and approximately 12 million reminders about dress code and AirPods.
Now it’s time for summer.
To our students- have fun, stay safe, make good choices, and make the most of every moment with your friends and family.
To our teachers and staff- enjoy every second of sleeping past 5:00 AM and not having to search for an admin reminder buried in Teams. You earned it.
To our seniors- once an Eagle, always an Eagle. Go do amazing things.
And to Mrs. Pearce- Congratulations on a successful last year. SHS won’t be the same without you ❤️
Have the best summer, Springstead family.
See you all back here soon for another year of memories, laughs, and chaos.
Love,

We’re almost there, Eagles. One more push. Finish strong, show up to class, turn in the last minute assignments, and maybe…DEFINITELY … leave the backpacks at home tomorrow. 😎

🚫🎒 Attention Eagles… Frank has an important announcement.
For the LAST THREE DAYS of school, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, backpacks are staying HOME.
Yes, I know. Deep breaths. You’ll survive without carrying around 14 empty water bottles, 3 hoodies, and that mystery granola bar from February.
Plan ahead, travel light, and finish the year strong, Eagles!
