Our 14 acre farm used to be home to the Hernado County Wildlife Rescue where they housed everything from Lions to Monkeys. These extremely unique enclosures are prefect for our poultry flight pens, giving our birds ample room to grow and fly. Our goal is to provide you with the best quality eggs and poultry. I have raised each one of our birds by hand with my two helpers, my son Austin age 10 and
my daughter Riley age 9. All of our chicks were hatch between March and April of 2013. Our birds are young and you will see that is the shape or size of their eggs. As a birds grows older the eggs will get larger and more egg shaped the more eggs they lay. Our birds are all natural, cage free, pasture raised and organic. We specialize in Rare & Heritage birds. What is a Heritage bird? It is a uniquely American turkey, the Heritage Turkey is the turkey that our forefathers knew. Our chickens are some of the most rare you will see. What makes them rare is that you will not find them all over the US. All our birds are Free-Range, free to be on the ground not in wire cages, free to run and fly and free to roost in trees. The excellent flavor of our Heritage turkeys is a result of their lifestyle. They are free to roam in the fresh air in areas 10 times the size of commercial turkey farm. Are fed a high protein grain diet that provides the optimum nutrition for our turkeys to grow into a bigger, more flavorful bird than what you will find in the supermarket. They can fly and breed naturally. All of these traits result in a superior taste. Every bird grows naturally with plenty of open space and are able to Free-Range.
