GO Church exists to be a city on hill, guiding our community into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

We accomplish that by loving God, loving others & making disciples of all nations.

This Sunday we are changing up our service format! In lieu of a typical sermon message, will have communion and an extended time of music, to worship our Savior Jesus Christ all together. Kids will be dismissed in the middle of service like normal to go to their classes in the kids area.

We are looking forward to this time where we can fellowship as a body of believers and worship our God. 🙏

When we think about outreach, maybe we envision volunteering at a church event, helping at a homeless shelter, or stopping by to visit a neighbor. There is no one way to show God’s love to others. For some it can feel terrifying too! You don’t have to be eloquent in speech, an extrovert, or do outreach like someone else in the church community. Sometimes it just starts with asking God to help you, and acting on that small idea that keeps popping in your mind. Here are some ideas for you to show God’s love to others. And if they ask why, you can share your story and the hope of Christ with them. 🙏💕

Churches everywhere value community - but what does community actually look like? Here at Go Church, we won’t pretend like we have unlocked the key so to speak, but sometimes all it takes is one step at a time, one prayer, one phone call, one letter, one conversation. Here are some ideas of how you can pursue building community within the church. These are simply ideas! Regardless of the how, we encourage you to pray and ask God to help you find and establish community, and to build deeper friendships, that will encourage us to walk closer with our Lord Jesus.

BIG CHANGE THIS WEEKEND!!

Starting on Sunday July 5th, kids will not be dropped off before service at the kids area. Instead, all children from babies up through fifth grade will STAY WITH THEIR PARENTS for service, and participate in worship and communion together. Once the children are dismissed, all kids will be walked back to their classroom by their teachers and helpers. Parents may take their little ones back themselves if they wish at this point, and then return to hear the sermon.

All Go Kids volunteer teachers and helpers will be present in the service at dismissal time to help walk the kids back.

We know this will take some time to adjust, and we appreciate your patience as we work out any kinks to this over the next few weeks. Our goal is to have the whole church family, including the kids ministry volunteers as well as the children, all together for worship and communion time. We pray this would help the church body grow in community and faith all together.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out! Again, we appreciate your understanding, and look forward to worshipping with you this Sunday. Thank you church family!
