Providence Church
Providence Church is a gospel-centered movement for the good of the city. Join us! In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things; charity.
We meet on Sundays at 9:15 and 11:00 AM at Spring Hill Elementary, and have small groups, youth and children's ministries at our campus across the street during the week. Strategically positioned in Spring Hill, Providence Church is dedicated to following the Great Commission, by making passionate followers of Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to the glory of God the Father. It's official! The youth group at Providence is now known as Waypoint Youth! A waypoint is simply "a point along the way" -but it's not the endpoint! It's a reminder that although we come together each week to get filled up and course-correct, the biggest adventure is following Jesus in faith and being on mission outside the church walls. It's about movement, direction and purpose. Together.
Students in 6th through 12th grades are welcome to join us on Wednesday nights at 6000 Mariner Boulevard. Doors open at 6:00 PM; we begin at 6:30 and end around 8:00.

Can You Spare 30 Minutes a Week to Make a Difference?
Just 30 minutes, once a week, can have a lasting impact on a child's life.
We are looking for caring adults to serve as mentors for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade at Spring Hill Elementary School. By spending a little time each week encouraging, listening, and building a positive relationship, you can help a child grow in confidence and succeed.
Adults, no matter your background, if you have a caring heart and 30 minutes to share, we'd love to hear from you.

From the game to the message, the instructions to the small groups - it's all designed to integrate new students well! Parents are encouraged to stay and check out what we do (even if your students are in a different grade!) There will be a Q&A with the Student Director during Small Groups to answer any questions and discuss our upcoming events.
Also...

-We're saying "goodbye" and sending off our graduated Seniors in prayer!
-We're announcing our new name and theme for the youth group!

We're Coming Home!
Beginning Sunday, August 30, Providence Church will be gathering for worship at our Main Campus:
6000 Mariner Boulevard, Spring Hill
Over the past several years, we've had the privilege of worshiping at Spring Hill Elementary while God continued to shape and grow our church. We're grateful for that season and all the memories made there.
Now we're excited to begin a new chapter as we return to our Main Campus with a renewed vision for the future. As we look ahead to the next season of ministry—including building the future home we believe God is leading us toward—we're excited to gather together, grow together, and continue serving our community.
Whether you've been with us for years or you've been looking for a church home, we'd love for you to join us.
Sundays at 9:15 AM and 11:00 AM
Come see what God is doing at Providence!

Yesterday our church family had the joy of ordaining a new Ruling Elder in front of our congregation! It was an exciting moment as Brian Little stood, surrounded by his loving family, committing himself to serve Christ and Providence Church with this new responsibility. We're grateful to God for raising up this servant-leader and cultivating his heart for ministry. This ordination should remind us all of the importance of godly, Biblical leadership and the blessing of faithful families in the life of the church! Please join us in praying for him as he steps into this new role with wisdom, courage, and grace. Good things are happening at Providence—praise God for His continued work among us!

Hey, Providence Students! The weather still looks great for our night of worship and prayer at Pine Island this Wednesday! There's no youth group at the church, but if praisin' Jesus on the beach sounds good to you, we'll see you there between 6:00 and 8:00 PM. It's still pretty toasty and bright at that time, so dress comfortably, but you shouldn't need swimsuits. Keep in mind, Pine Island charges for parking via an app, so if you're not being dropped off, you'll need a way to take care of that. Subscribe to our text platform with the word "providenceyouth" to 94000 for any last-minute announcements or changes due to weather.

🏐 Another great season is in the books!
Providence Church wrapped up another fun and competitive season of sand volleyball at the Hernando County YMCA with two teams representing us: MacAttack and the Providence Spikers.
The Spikers gave it everything they had, diving for balls, chasing down impossible saves, and keeping the competition honest all season long. They came up just short of the championship, but they definitely earned our respect.
And the big news... 🎉 MacAttack won the championship! They are now back-to-back Hernando County YMCA Sand Volleyball Champions! 🏆🏆
Congratulations to all of our players for representing Providence so well both on and off the court. Thanks for another season filled with fun, friendship, outstanding Christian testimony, and great competition. We can't wait for next season!
Would you like to play this Fall? Reach out and let us know! Providence is ready to form some more teams!

Today, American disciples of Jesus can be grateful for 250 years of freedom to worship God based on our convictions from the Scriptures! As we celebrate Independence Day, don't forget to appreciate the brave men and women who sacrificed so much to secure the liberties we enjoy today. In a nation founded on principles drawn from biblical truth, we have the precious opportunity to live out our faith openly and boldly for the glory of God. May this freedom stir our hearts to pray fervently for our country, its leaders, and a spirit of repentance and revival. Let us also remember to share the hope of the Gospel with our neighbors, using this liberty to openly be salt and light in our communities. Happy Independence Day from our church family—may God continue to bless America as we remain faithful to Him!
