What once was a hobby is now the business my sister and I lovingly named Coming Undone. Unlike some businesses, ours was born out of necessity, rather than opportunity~ a necessity for purpose as everything seemingly meaningful died with our mother. The grief and sense of internal dismemberment we experienced after her loss was devastating and life altering, catapulting us on a painful and sometimes chaotic journey of healing and self discovery. And just as it is with the transformation of broken and damaged furniture, healing requires diligence and gentle patience in order for there to be restoration.
