Bob's Custom Docks

Well it looks like the design worked better than thought needed. I was told that NO NAME STORM was the worst surge we ever had. It sounds like this storm last night was as bad or worse based on flood levels talking with Neighbors. That puts the surge at an estimated 11 or 12 feet in Hernando beach. Please confirm that but that is what I am thinking. I changed the design to allow for floatation and pulling the dock into the water based on rotation rod limitations. While the dock will try to float, the 4 rods would pull it down with several 100s of pounds. Enough to tilt the dock and still hold the boat. I will check more details and water depths when I get to dock.
