Our 40th Year of Awana at Spring Hill Baptist Church has come to a close last night as we celebrated at our Closing Awards Program. Parents and families joined us as we celebrated the hard work of many Clubbers who completed their handbooks by doing Bible studies and Scripture memorization. Our Puggles, Cubbies, Sparkies and T&Ts all were excited and enjoyed being together watching a season sideshow, receiving their awards, and even singing their club theme songs. We especially enjoyed some precious Puggles, bouncing Cubbies and Sparkling Sparkies. And what can I say about our TnTs they were explosive as usual. Great job to all. A special congratulations to our 5 T&T Clubbers who received the Timothy Award, as well as the 6 Clubbers who received Clubbers of the Year Awards for their respective clubs.
We finished the evening with an Ice Cream Social in the Family Life Center. Yum!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all our wonderful Clubbers and their families, and all our awesome Directors and leaders!

It's that time again. The end of the Awana Season. On May 13th starting at 6:30pm it is our CLOSING AWARDS PROGRAM!!
Come to SHBC in the sanctuary.
We will be presenting awards to all Clubbers who have completed their books.
Our kids have worked hard all year learning God's Word.
Please come to celebrate their success, and encourage them to continue.
Leaders too will be recognized.
Following the awards presentation Clubbers and their families are invited to the Family Life Center (the gym) for an Ice Cream Social. Delicious!

The Cubbies enjoyed their Stuffed Animal Night at Awana Club last night. They got to bring in their favorite stuffed animal and show it to their friends and tell them about it. Their stuffed friends were pretty awesome as were their real ones!!

This morning SHBC was graciously presented with a plaque and letter from our Awana Missionaries, Jim and Lori Lambeth and Awana HQ to celebrate 40 years of the Awana Ministry at our church. Praise God! Thank you to all who have served in this wonderful ministry over the last 40 years. I know you were blessed by serving many children and that many children came to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior through your service. As our Awana prayer states, "We pray that all children around the world will come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ." Amen.

Big shout out to everyone who helped us pack eggs this week at our Eggstravaganza packing party! What an amazing time. 5000 eggs were completed! Thank you to everybody who donated and came out to stuff them!
