🎉🍦 WE DID IT!! Last Day of School!! 🍦🎉
And how did we celebrate?! With ICE CREAM of course!! 🙌 A huge shoutout to for coming out to FSMS and serving up the sweetest end-of-year treat for our 6th and 7th graders AND our amazing staff — you made the last day of school extra special and we are SO grateful! 🍨✨
But honestly? This whole year would not have been possible without ALL OF YOU! 💛 To every parent who donated their time, their money, their food, their energy — THANK YOU. You showed up over and over again and it made all the difference. This community is something truly special and we feel it every single day. 🙌
To our 6th and 7th graders — enjoy every second of that summer! You earned it! ☀️🏊‍♀️ We cannot wait to see you back in the fall! 💛

8th grade, you were SO fun to celebrate. We love you, FSMS! 💛

👕🍨 Two things we are STILL talking about from last night!! 🍨👕
First — can we just appreciate the GENIUS that is Sarah Hines and Tiffany Zerr for getting custom shirts made for every 8th grader AND setting out shirt markers so the kids could sign each other's shirts all night long?! 🖊️✨ The smiles, the memories, the keepsake they'll have FOREVER — we are absolutely obsessed! This detail took the party from fun to completely unforgettable! 🙌💛
And second — a massive shoutout to for bringing the sweetest vibes of the night with their dessert truck!! 🚚🍨 The kids were OBSESSED and honestly, same. 😄 If you haven't experienced Duckies on the Go yet, what are you waiting for?! Keep them in mind for your next event — you will NOT be disappointed! 🙌🎉

Last night, our FSMS 8th graders got the send-off they deserved — and WOW, what a night it was! 🙌
We are SO incredibly grateful to the two amazing mamas who made this whole thing happen: Sarah Hines and Tiffany Zerr. These two planned, organized, and poured their hearts into every single detail, and it showed. We seriously cannot thank you enough — you are ROCKSTARS! 🌟🌟
A HUGE thank you also goes out to every parent who donated food, games, and decorations, and to every volunteer who showed up and gave their time to make the night so special. This is what the FSMS community is all about — showing up for our kids! 💛
To our 8th graders — we are SO proud of you. High school, here they come!! 🏫➡️🎒 We can't wait to see everything you're going to do. Go get it! 🙌🔥

This is our final meeting of the year and there are some really important decisions on the table. We want your input! Even if you've never made it to a meeting before — THIS is a great one to come to. 🙏

We just wrapped up the MOST amazing Teacher Appreciation Month and we couldn't let it end without shouting out every single person who made it happen! 📣✨

This year, the FSMS PTO went TOTALLY 90s for our incredible teachers and staff — and wow, did this community show UP! 🎶💥

Here's a little peek at everything our teachers experienced this month:

🌈 SLAP BRACELETS — The most 90s thing we could think of! Students wrote heartfelt notes to their favorite teachers on neon slap bracelets. (Could we BE any more 90s?!)

☕ MOBILE GROUND COFFEE & SMOOTHIES — One morning we brought in Mobile Ground to treat the teachers to coffee and smoothies to kickstart their day the right way.

🍩 DONUTS FROM ePRE — A sweet breakfast delivery from Elite Planning & Real Estate to show our teachers some morning love.

🍕 GAMBINO'S PIZZA LUNCH — Teachers and staff were treated to a delicious pizza lunch from our local favorite, Gambino's, paired with fresh salad from HyVee and the MOST delicious desserts donated by our amazing parent community.

🎁 GIFT CARDS FOR EVERY STAFF MEMBER — Last Friday, PTO volunteers hand-delivered a $20 local gift card AND a handwritten note AND a cake pop from The Bean to EVERY staff member. 🎂💌
