There’s nothing quite like the joy of watching an animal return to the wild where they belong. Today, this very grumpy “baby” opossum waddled off into the woods without so much as a thank you, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Happy release day, handsome boy.

We had a lovely time at Timmy's first birthday party! Lots of yummy food, and of course Drag Queen Bingo to raise those funds for Pet Skunk Advocates & Rescue.
There was Teddy the skunk, Boots the kitten, and birthday boy, Timmy! ❤️🦝🎂🎉
I have acquired the most perfect specimen of a cat!
Meet *cough* Sir Bootsington Wobblesworth! (Or, Boots lol)
He is a 6 week old baby that was found by a dumpster at just 3 weeks old. He has cerebellar hypoplasia, which is also known as wobbly cat syndrome. He can walk, climb, and play! He just does it a little differently.
I will be giving him cold laser therapy treatment regularly and, of course, a LOT of cuddles. I hear that's pretty good medicine 🥰🐈⬛
I accidentally left the hose running to fill up Binnie's pool. She did not mind at all!

If this isn't the most gorgeous peacock I have ever seen!
He has a hurty foot, so Birds in Helping Hands contacted me (I still work very closely with them. Amazing rescue!) He was only 15 minutes away from me, in someone's enclosed lanai. Made it easier to net him! He will have a sleepover at Crikey and then go to a bird rehabber tomorrow. As beautiful as peacocks are; I don't need a screaming woman living in my backyard 🫠

Update on the little skinny baby raccoon I picked up yesterday! The rehabber said she is doing better than yesterday. Looks brighter already! No more sunken eyes and getting a little belly. She is still not out of the woods so still in critical condition, but she is a little fighter! 🥰🦝❤️
