Testing Reminders

Attached is a copy of the invitation your students received last week for our 8th grade Promotion Ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, May 27th at 6:30pm. The deadline to RSVP is this Friday, May 15, 2026. We need a RSVP for EVERY student to get an accurate ticket count. Students will not be able to participate if they do not RSVP. Below is the information shared in the original post.

Due to the number of students we have, the ceremony will be held in the gymnasium at Nature Coast Technical High School. The capacity of their gym allows for each student to receive up to 4 tickets. Every person (even infants) needs a ticket according to the Fire Marshall. If we have students that do not attend and there are tickets leftover, we will do our best to distribute them. Students will participate in a practice here at Powell on the 27th and will receive their tickets at that time. Students MUST be in attendance at school on Wednesday, May 27th for the practice in order to receive their tickets. We are asking that EVERY student RSVP by May 15th so that we can get an accurate number of participants.

We will also have a company on-site at Nature Coast that evening that sells flowers, t-shirts, etc. if you are looking to purchase something for your 8th grader. I have attached the flyer with their website if you are interested in pre-ordering. https://www.thecommencementgroup.com/powellms/
