Price: $15 per 1 lb jar (same as last year!)

The flower patch is exploding! 🌸🌼💐
We have started cutting and putting together bouquets for those of you that were interested. Over the next several weeks, we’ll be putting fresh-cut bouquets on the farm stand as different varieties reach their peak. Since flowers don’t all bloom at the same time, bouquets will be available sporadically and in limited quantities.
If you drive by and see flowers on the stand, don’t wait too long… once they’re gone, you’ll have to catch the next harvest.

🐝 🍯 Extraction day is in the books! 🍯 🐝
Today we spent the entire day inspecting hives and pulling honey frames from half of our hives. The bees have been incredibly busy this season. They made the best of a spring season that moved rapidly from incredibly cold to unseasonably hot and dry. There might be another extraction in the fall, but now comes the hard part….waiting! 😂
The honey will spend the next week settling before we bottle it, giving you the clearest, smoothest raw honey possible. We’ll start bottling next week and will announce as soon as it’s ready.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support our family farm and our bees. We can’t wait to share this year’s harvest with you! 🐝💛

From honey bees to highland cattle, we spent the evening helping kids connect with agriculture, and we had just as much fun as they did! What started as a simple lesson about honey bees turned into an incredible evening on the farm! 😀
We welcomed a wonderful group of school aged kids and their families to learn about honey bees, pollination, and the important role that honey bees play in our food system (among other native pollinators). Along the way, we also talked about our highland cattle, pastured pork, and what daily life looks like on a working family farm.
The kids asked great questions, watched the honey bees in action, saw the cows, and got a firsthand look at where their food comes from at the most basic level. Seeing their curiosity and excitement made the whole experience worthwhile!
As farmers, we spend a lot of time caring for our livestock and forage. It’s easy to forget that many children rarely get the chance to see these things up close and personal! Being able to share our farm and help connect kids to agriculture was a true blessing! 🙏
Thank you to everyone who came out and spent the evening with us. We had a fantastic time and are already talking about doing it again!

🌱🍅 Tomato season is getting closer!
We spent the morning in the greenhouse getting our tomatoes trellised and ready for the summer ahead. The plants are growing fast, and it won’t be long before the kids have fresh tomatoes out on the stand!
We’ve got two new varieties joining the lineup this year, along with the tried-and-true favorites that keep coming back season after season.
For now, the plants are hard at work growing!

We are officially out of vegetable plants!
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the kids farm stand and took home vegetable plants. Ben, Abi, and Hannah loved seeing all the new and familiar faces!
As of now, they’re officially out of vegetable plants. If you stopped by looking for tomatoes, peppers, or other vegetable starts, we appreciate you thinking of us and we’re sorry we don’t have any left.
But don’t wander too far! The growing season is just getting started. Fresh produce, honey, and flowers will be making their way to the stand before long, and we’ll be posting updates right here when they’re ready.
Thanks again for supporting our small family farm. Watching the kids work the stand was one of the highlights of our spring. 🌱🚜🍅🍯
Ben is already making plans for next springs vegetable plants 😂!

📢 Update from the strawberry beds 🍓 🌱 🍓
It’s about to get “berry” sweet around here!
The beds are absolutely loaded with blossoms right now. That means berries are officially on the way!
We spent the evening weeding and fertilizing the strawberry beds ahead of tonights projected rain. Perfect timing if we do say so ourselves 😂.
Now we sit patiently and wait. That’s the hard part!
