Join us this afternoon as we celebrate the history of Spring Grove's first schoolhouse before it begins its next chapter.

Stop by for an informal open house to walk through the building one last time, share memories, and learn about the future of this historic landmark from the Spring Grove Area Historical Preservation Society. Light refreshments will be available.

At 3:00 PM, Superintendent Dr. Daphne Kirkpatrick and Tracy Crouse, Executive Director of the Spring Grove Area Historical Preservation Society, will ring the historic school bell together, symbolizing the transition of the building from the Spring Grove Area School District to its next chapter of preservation.

It's official.. he did it! 👏

SGAHS student Gautham Narayan made the U.S. National Spacemodeling Team. He'll compete in the S1-Altitude category at the 2027 FAI World Championships for Space Models in Poland! Gautham is the first member of the Spring Grove Rocketry Team to tryout for and earn a place on Team USA.

What an incredible accomplishment! We wish Gautham luck as he prepares to represent Team USA and Spring Grove on the world stage!

Rockets Mascot Community Input Survey Rocket Nation is preparing for an exciting new tradition. For the first time in district history, Spring Grove Area School District is exploring the development of an official live costumed mascot to represent the Rockets at school events, athletic competitions, pep rallies, parades, and community c...

We wish SGAHS student Gautham Narayan the very best of luck as he competes at the U.S. National Spacemodeling Team Selection Flyoffs today in Muncie, Indiana.

Gautham is the first-ever Spring Grove Rocketry Team member to compete at the national team selection event, where competitors from across the country are vying for the opportunity to represent the United States at the 2027 World Space Modeling Championships in Poland.

He's competing in two challenging events:

🚀 S1B Altitude - Competitors design and build an ultra-lightweight, two-stage rocket engineered to reach the highest possible altitude within strict competition rules.

🚀 S5 Scale Altitude - Competitors build a highly detailed scale model of a real rocket and then launch it, earning points for both the model's accuracy and its flight performance.

Reaching this level of competition is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to Gautham's talent, dedication, and passion for rocketry.
