Phase inspections while the home is being built and 1 year warranty inspections can give you peace of mind and save you money down the road.
Types of Phase Inspections:
Pre Concrete:
Inspector is checking any exposed plumbing, rebar spacing, v***r barrier, and forming of foundation. All of this is inspected before the concrete is poured.
Pre-Drywall:
Framing is checked, electrical, plumbing, A/C ducting, and exterior v***r barriers to industry standards or to drawings, if provided.
Final home Inspection:
The home is ready to move in. This is your standard TREC 7-6 home inspection.
1 Year Warranty:
After you have moved in. Typically about 10-11 months but before you have lived there one year. Check with your builder on exactly when they need this report from you for warranty work so you know when to get it scheduled.
