Just Google "DUPR" and you'll find lots of videos explaining DUPR. If you are really interested in how it works, from a somewhat geeky and statistical point of view, check out this link...

The Bulverde Pickleball "Tribe" attended the Bulverde City Council meeting, 7/13/2021. 6 players pitched the idea of a community park Pickleball facility. The concept was well received by the council members and an enthusiastic conversation resulted from the questions asked. Even more encouraging news may be forthcoming as the result of other city business that was on the agenda for later in the meeting.

18. What would you suggest to improve the Pickleball experience and/or grow the sport in the Bulverde / Spring Branch area?
Not sure, have not played there
a place with more courts
Support more Pickleball with lined courts, tournaments, clinics and pickup games regularly.
League play
More play options
Initially, combining markings and nets on a couple of existing tennis courts.
Have available times for newbies, intermediate & advanced players.
Have enough courts to accommodate growing popularity of area pickleball
Play in places like the Country Place
More players, more consistently at Jumbo Evans
More segregation among the better and lower rated players.
I have more courts that are marked for pickle ball
More newbies? It’s pretty good experience so far!
less covid restrictions
Make sure there are lines on the courts
More opportunities for play within same levels. While it’s good to help develop new players, it would be nice to have dedicated times for playing with players of your same level.
Social media, free intro clinics

Will membership help make modifications to accommodate pickleball players?
I did not know of this membership
Jumbo Evans doesn’t have a lot of players. Also i wish they would add pickleball lines to a few courts if they
did that I would join. Having to mark the courts sucks.
Don’t know anything about this association plus I don’t play tennis.
Jumbo Evans is not dedicated to pickleball
Not really a tennis player

Would like Saturday morning play at Countryside or Oak Village North courts and leave JUMBO Evans for learning experience of new and lower rated players. Don't mix it up.
I’m blown away at friendliness of y’all, willingness to teach, patience with us newbies!
lets play
Appreciate friendly, patient instructors
I am not aware of free play in my Timberwood area, other than country place.
I think it would be fun to be in a woman’s Pickleball league.
