*Full time position (40 hours/week) - $25.00+/hour, depending on experience.
*Be a part of an organization that values integrity, quality, and top-notch customer service.
*Work with the latest fire alarm and life safety technology
*Installs, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, and performs routine systems maintenance on commercial: Fire Alarm, Intrusion, IP Network Video Surveillance and Access Control.
*Maintains knowledge of pertinent local, state, and federal fire and electrical building codes.
*Maintains an inventory of parts, supplies and materials, and requisitions replacements as needed;
Records and documents all inspections, tests, and work performed Responsibilities:
*Ability to work on and repair fire alarm, security, access, and video systems from various manufactures. Able to complete installations and repairs per NFPA72 and other standards
*Use company software to complete work orders, daily time sheet, and inter-company communications.
*Analysis and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems including Ground-Faults, Shorts, Wire Integrity, Termination, Panel, Fuses, Battery Testing and much more
*Programming of dialers and fire alarm panels for monitoring utilizing traditional POTS lines, cellular, and IP technologies
Complete basic repairs and installations including moves, adds, relocates for all types of systems and devices · Interact with clients, field personnel and fire marshals
*Read and understand construction drawings Qualifications:
*Minimum of 2 year of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems · High School Diploma or equivalent
Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred
*A thorough knowledge and understanding of intrusion detection systems, electronic access control, CCTV, IP video, surveillance systems, fire alarm and life safety systems
IP Video and IT experience preferred
Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after hours & weekend emergency calls
*A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions is required
*Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and customers
*NICET II certification in fire alarm
Washington State 06 license required. Idaho low voltage license preferred
