Final Sunday Gathering, 5pm tomorrow. Let’s share stories, memories, and hopes for the future around another bonfire at Kellie’s.

Thank you, friends, for a sweet final evening in the Building.💛We shared stories, laughed, sighed, and prayed blessings and peace over the groups that use it now and will in the future.

See you in a week for our final 5pm Sunday Gathering over a bonfire.

As we wrap up our current Porch expression and shift to new things, this Sunday is our final Sunday Gathering in the Building. (Our actual Final Gathering will be the following week in a different location). This space has been good to us, and we want to give thanks for our time in and with it.

There are big changes in store for this community we call The Porch.

Our desire has always been to be a community of people who want to live by faith, be known by love, and be a source of hope to those around us. Come the end of November, our current Porch expression will end, and new expressions will begin.

Our Sunday evening worship Gatherings will end. An intentional community will be beginning/continuing out on the reservation. Many of us will begin attending Salem Lutheran, just down the street, for Sunday morning worship.

Our life as a community of people following Jesus together continues. Our Bonfire Fridays (or Nonfire Fridays, depending on the burn ban) will continue. Our book groups will continue. But “The Porch” as a nonprofit will end.

We are ever a community that desires to live by faith, be known for love, and is a source of hope to those around us.
